Jane’s Walk – tomorrow!

It’s finally spring! And with spring comes Jane’s Walks.  Named after urban activist and journalist Jane Jacobs, who called Toronto her home, Jane’s Walks take place annually in and around neighbourhoods where community members walk together and (re)discover local places.  Here is a link to Toronto’s Jane’s Walks.  This year’s Jane Walks are taking place over May 6 – 8.

Tomorrow, May 7 at 10am (and I apologize for the late notice) Councillor Janet Davis is hosting a local walk with Anita Millar – starting at the Chalmers Grist Mill site (10 Dawes Road), the Jane’s Walk will move through the Taylor Creek Park and Dentonia Parklands, once the famous Massey Farm.  Local historians will be on hand to answer questions and share stories.  Here is a link to details, including the walk route.
