Community Environment Day

This Sunday, May 4th, Councillor Janet Davis is hosting Ward 31’s Community Environment Day. Happening in the parking lots of East York Memorial Arena (888 Cosburn Ave), the day will take place between 10am and 2pm.

So, if you’re looking to scoop up some free compost, take advantage of paper shredding, or get info on community groups, be sure to swing by.  Lots of fun stuff for kids too, including face painting, seed planting and of course the playground that is on the grounds too.

The other great thing about Environment Day is you can toss those batteries and extra paint, as well as any electronic waste you’re not quite sure what to do with.
