LASOs are community arts organizations in Toronto that promote the arts at the local level, making them part of the daily fabric of community living.
Services typically provided by a LASO include marketing, promotion, information services, networking, professional development, programming, and provision of administrative support. The other LASOs in Toronto are: Arts Etobicoke, Lakeshore Arts, Scarborough Arts, UrbanArts and North York Arts.
The newly formed East End Arts serves Toronto Wards 29, 30, 31 & 32, defined to the north by the Don Valley, as far south as the Lakeshore, to the west side of Bayview Avenue and as far east as Victoria Park Avenue.
