Community Clean Up Day! Call for Volunteers

This Saturday, April 21st, is the City’s Community Clean Up Day.  A group of us are doing a clean up of Coleman Park, from 10:30 – 12 noon, and we’re looking for folks to join us!  Coleman Park is a fantastic park, with a great play area and beautiful trees.  Let’s help keep it fantastic.

If you’re interested, feel free to email me at danforthsecord[a]gmail.com, or just show up – the park is on Coleman Ave, just east of Barrington.

Be sure to wear your grubs, and it’s not a bad idea to wear gloves, boots and a hat.  And, since we will be braving the elements (kind of), you can always include sunscreen, bug repellent and bottled water.  Also, please bring a plastic grocery bag or two, which will help with the gathering.
