tiny things

Two ‘tiny’ oriented things for today’s post.

The National Post is doing a series on ‘living in a semi’ and this particular article features a historical peek into life in our ‘hood.  If you scroll down to the highlighted article under “Semi Stories,” the writer tells about living on Barrington Ave from the 1920’s through to the 60s.  Neato stuff.

Our friends at Silly Goose Kids are hosting a book launch.  The book, written by Peyton Leung, with illustrations by Hillary Leung and photographs by Ben Leung, is titled “A Pirate Girl’s Treasure; An Origami Adventure.”  Here’s a link to their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SillyGooseKids#!/pirategirlbook

The launch, co-hosted with Small Print Toronto, is being held from 2-4pm, on Sunday March 25th, and will include storytelling from 2-3pm.  Promises to be a good, good time.
